(Re) Introducing myself after moving from emacs.ch: I am an academic interested in #math and #theoreticalphysics
I am at this instance because I contribute to some #Emacs projects (details to come in a follow up) and I am posting this using mastodon.el the Emacs client for fediverse.
Other than that I am interested in #fiction and #urdu #poetry. I am here to mostly read rather than write and it has shame that there is not much Urdu content here (I hope I am just missing some niche).

Now on to #emacs, if you use pdf-tools but want continuous scrolling try out https://github.com/vedang/pdf-tools/pull/224
I have used it for more than an year. From the comments on that issue you can a few other people have used it too and found bugs (in one case in the #emacs redisplay code). Those bugs have been fixed but it can use more testing.

I also contributed some input methods to #emacs: a couple for #urdu, but also for #pashto, #sindhi and #balochi. Among these I only speak #urdu the rest just copied available keyboard layouts. These will be part of Emacs 30.

I have also written an finicky to setup xdg-desktop-portal that let one choose #files using #emacs https://codeberg.org/rahguzar/filechooser , an Emacs interface to #hoogle https://codeberg.org/rahguzar/consult-hoogle
There is a (kind of in progress) major mode for #sagemath https://codeberg.org/rahguzar/sage-mode which hasn't seen much progress in a while because it is usable for its only user i.e. me.
Recently I managed to make produce a (humongous) #texinfo manual for Sage so that I can read it from Emacs https://github.com/sagemath/sage/issues/21734
