I'm working with C, and I don't think people will like my bash script that compiles the project and its dependency, but I don't think people would like me to use cmake or some shit either.

I could use make, make is cool. But god, I wish there was something like cargo for C.

@fabiosantoscode you can try vcpkg from MS, but honestly package system for C meh. Also genie is better than cmake imo I use it for cross platform

@djlink for downloading dependencies and keeping track, I'm okay with git submodules. I do want the ability to build with one small command though.
