KG8CO is a FB CW OP.
Out there doin' the CW POTA thing.
1st time I called, SWOOSH, major fade. Went from 5nn +10dB to dead static in 3 seconds.
Waited.
2nd time I called, someone started tuning QRO too close to filter out.
Waited.
3rd time I called, someone else started sending while 8CO was. Needed a repeat. But we got it. Patient fella.
Also, I'd hear someone call him at 13wpm, & he'd immediately QRS to match. Then back to 25wpm for the next CQ.
A real gent. That's how it's done.

I also heard @N4JAW this morning on 30m. Quite strong. Called him, but so did someone else. I listened along as he worked that QSO... the end of which I never heard. It all faded to nothing.
Later saw Jim spotted on a couple other bands. In neither case could I hear a peep out of 'im.

@kelvin0mql The bands were really wired this morning. Lots of QRM on 40 meters. Like listening to a bowl of Rice Krispies. 30 and 20 meters had some QSB. Early lasting effects of X Class flares over the last couple of days.

@N4JAW
Agreed. Fickle ionosphere. But that can also be a fun challenge.
