Probably just showing my age, but I vastly prefer the 80's and 90's anime style to the modern one.

Although there are of course plenty of exceptions from after 2000 as well

@OutofPrintArchive I would agree, but TBF only the productions with high budget had this esthetics. Low budget TV programmes looked really poor at that time
