Toot

@rmondello I was noticing that Chrome on my Mac (not my choice!) wasn’t allowing for access to my passkey for a particular website and was always prompting me to scan a QR code to access it from another device.

I had that passkey added to a group in Passwords.app; when I moved it out of the group, Chrome accessed it directly without issue.

Is this intentional, or a bug? (I’m hoping a bug — ideally would still love to access my passkeys across all my browsers even if they’re in groups)

@jkrahn If you move it back, does it reproduce again? (And can you file a bug about this for me at feedbackassistant.apple.com, and then send me the ID? That’ll be the best way for me to get this tracked and fixed.)

@rmondello

Good call on reproducing. Yes, moving it back to a group does make it inaccessible again.
