Was talking to my therapist today about how I “don’t look like a chemo patient” and she mentioned how TV chemo patients always still have their eyebrows and some even have beards and such and now I am going to start looking for that

@kitchen What shocks people the most when I tell them that I did chemo is that I didn’t lose my hair…because not all the meds do that. I didn’t know that before either.

Hair is the least defining thing in a person’s health but it’s the difference between being treated as sick or not. And I don’t think anyone likes being treated as “sick”.
