for some reason every email from github lands in my spam folder. I have disabled every server-side spam rule. every. single. one. And I have a Thunderbird filter before junk classification.
Now I’ve disabled the server-side email anti-virus too. Let’s see.

@tippfehlr have you checked that the emails pass the SPF rule set by GitHub and when those are executed?

@csdummi do I check that on GitHub? I only have acceptance rules on but the mails are accepted so those can't be the issue

@tippfehlr spf records are stored in DNS TXT records of github.com
They determine the valid sender IPs for a domain and what to do with mails from other servers, such as quarantine them in spam.
