Is SDL3 any good yet? Seems it might be too cutting edge for Debian's repository. Would you target a new project at SDL2 or SDL3?

@zeska The Medley Interlisp project has an SDL2 backend and is planning to support SDL3. But the pace of change is such that for the time being the SDL3 code isn't going to keep up with it. More details here (Maiko is the VM on which Medley Interlisp runs and the SDLx code is located in Maiko):

@amoroso mmm.. yeah that definitely seems like a clue that it's not very stable yet. On the other hand I've just got some shared cultural trauma around heel dragging between the numbers 2 and 3 😂
