We had to put down our 18 yr old cat Thursday and now a kitten ( 1 mo. old tops ) has appeared at our house.

I am not ready.

I'm equally certain I have no say-so in the matter.

To be clear, I still have 9 more I hope to outlive so they don't have to grieve me. On the other hand, I'm not looking for opportunities to grieve more loss.

But if we're needed....

The distribution system has been allocating about 1/yer since the pandemic.

At this rate, imortality awaits.
