Split canal bridge. The gap (usually closed by now) was to allow a horse-pulled canal boat to go past the bridge without uncoupling the tow rope.

@carusb, I have been flipping back and forth between them. I prefer the workflow in SF but then I was preferring the colours and the airiness of the scans I was getting with VS until I started hating the shadows in VS. Currently on SF but I can't remember which I was using with Phoenix.

@roguemusiclab @tomnorthfilm Unfortunately my short-lived copy of SF came with the Plustek 8200i and I had to ask them to delete my licence (tied to just that scanner) when I packed it up for return!

I have a roll of Phoenix in the LX just now, maybe I'll try scanning that myself when I'm done.

@tomnorthfilm Thanks Tom, do really like this photo, though I didn't expect it to do the numbers quite as much. It does slightly annoy me, though, that the pillars don't look round! Not sure quite what happened there, but PP was done in Aperture, so I'd have to dig out the original scan from a removable disk somewhere to try to rectify.
