I’ve been in New York for an hour and already seen 6 different Dunkin’s

@holly I was not really prepared for the sudden change in Dunkin concentration when moving from NC to Connecticut. I'd been warned by my Massachusetts son, but I just hadn't believed there could be so many.

Sadly, they seem also a bit of a weed that chokes out every other donut shop. Within 10 miles of me, there are 6 donut shops. 5 are Dunkin. The one that isn't runs out of most things by 8a and closes at noon. We miss Daylight Donuts!

@cocoaphony @holly We're kinda at the northern edge of the Dunkin' empire here, but the next town over (population 15k) has three Dunkins and three other donut shops.

@Migueldeicaza @cocoaphony @holly Lou's is pretty OK. Best donuts up here are Muriel's in Lebanon (https://thelebanontimes.com/a-tasty-legacy-muriels-donuts/), though (open 10am-1pm, six days a week).
