[#]Fediverse and #Meta should not allow (and currently don't allow) export of own content and reimport of own content, because content of the users cannot be trusted.

Users could pretend to have posted things in the past when this was not the case. Also interactions with other users would be other users’ data and unclear whether they would appreciate export/import of their data.

@schmittlauch @rriemann Firefish (oder wie der tagesaktuelle Fork heißen mag) erlaubt es, und meine, ein paar andere Server auch. Es ist vor allem Mastodon, dass sich vor einer Lösung drückt. Dazu gibt es jahrelange Diskussionen mit massenhaft guten Ansätzen für die Vertrauensfrage, zu denen Eugens Truppe sich noch nie geäußert hat.
