A driver plowed into the crosswalk (bikes are allowed on sidewalks here because there are so few bikeways or lanes) on my morning #bike ride today when I had the light and right of way. If I hadn't slowed down defensively, I would have gone under his tires.
I admit I yelled, and he yelled back. The motorcyclist behind him looked concerned.

I need to remember to not escalate. This is the fourth time it's happened at this intersection, and the third time at this exact corner. I need to be more cautious at that spot. The driver could get a traffic violation, but I would be in the hospital.
I haven't had this problem at other intersections, so I wonder what's different.
