Instead of UBI I'm actually more in favor of just making things free.

If I simply did not have to pay for housing, food, transportation, education, healthcare, or childcare, I think I would be able to live quite comfortably with the same, or even less pay than I get now, or no job at all, and I wouldn't need to worry about budgeting my stipend.

If all these costs were eliminated, I would probably only be spending a couple hundred dollars a month at most anyways.

@TapiocaPearl heck, non-profit housing and free university alone are making my life pretty easy right now, economically.
