The US needs a National referendum on keeping or abolishing the Electoral College.

That's the only way we get close to One person, one vote.

It's the most direct form of democracy. No endless polls; just vote.

To change the constitution is conceivable. It's just politically difficult and potentially hazardous with ALEC and the rest of the right wing oligarchs trying to push the other way at, say, a constitutional convention.
