In recent times I’ve spoken to several lecturers who’ve complained about lecturing to an empty room so it’s funny to see the opposite 😆
But I’m curious: Why not all online? Lack of good home internet? Students working together? What are the advantages here?

@HeathrTurnr this was a mid term exam and the university feels better if students are in person during the exam.
The exam is open book, open internet. It is about coding with #rstats, they have to do data wrangling and analysis and visualization. We use GitHub classroom to manage the exams.
So, the exam could be also all online.
Classes are online.

@yabellini @HeathrTurnr but, are the students allowed to seek help from people outside the classroom (asking q's on Stack Overflow, Chegg, tutors etc?) If not, there needs to be a mechanism to make sure they don't.
