@jmtd a lot of fond memories, certainly. The old millhouse which was their headquarters here (and original industrial centre of the town) continues to host a number of smaller companies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assabet_Woolen_Mill

@jmtd DEC had a very interesting history. By all accounts it was a company that took very good care of its employees, and its founder Ken Olsen had a loyal following. But they failed to adapt to a lot of the big changes that happened in the '80s and paid the price
