I really wish Apple would update the Mac Mini or the Studio soon. I'd buy an M3/4 of either right away.

As it is, I'm probably going to buy one soonish and hope a new release doesn't make me regret it just outside the return window.

I've managed to hold out buying a new desktop Mac, and now rumors are heating up for a revision this fall. I can wait until October. 🤞🏽

@fcanas I feel like as a primary machine the Studio makes a lot more sense then a souped up Mini Pro..

@paul ugh, I know. If there was any indication I could get an updated Studio this year to replace my ancient Intel mini I would wait a little longer.

@fcanas yeah there is that. I'll for sure get a low end M4 mini, but that's mostly because I collect them. Will save up for a M4 base ultra or something like that.

I have noticed that used Studios sometimes are pretty decent price wise. Have seen the base M1 Max for << $1k and I think that's a perfectly usable machine, at least until M4s come out.
