huh just learned that wayland apps are meant to be CSD by design. then why are people still cumming and shitting about SSD

@lo In Wayland specs it is usually preferable to use CSD, as in the reference window manager Weston, but it is not mandatory, KWin and wlroots in fact use their own protocol for server side decorations.

Mutter does not have SSD support.

To work around this problem, there is a library called libdecor to draw decorations in window managers that use CSD.
