Played our first game of #SpiritIsland and pretty much everyone hated it.
Too many rules and the rules are a mess - first they list 200 terms and you have to page all over the place to piece together what they all mean. Design needs work.
What a weird progression of difficulty: Starts out frustratingly hard, then gets easier as your powers grow.
I'd be willing to give it another go with a group of adults, but the family is definitely never going to play this with me again...

I also learnt today that I really really do have to learn a game before trying to play it with the family... And especially so if the rules are a mess.
