pls boost: trans composer ISO a #synth player in #seattle or the pnw to join an ensemble for a premiere the weekend of oct 25 (2 shows; 3-4 rehearsals; a meeting or two). this is a paid gig. ref recording of last rehearsal linked below.
it's a 75-minute long aleatoric chamber music w/ a graphic score (you don't need to be able to read music, but it helps). focuses on bridges between individual & group sensory experiences: contemplative but really textural, sometimes loud, and occasionally pretty. it needs vulnerability from the audience/performers, and i've gotten close to the other musicians over time because of it.
in addition to me (synth, perc, piano, voice) & violin, this synth part i'm looking to fill is textural. specific gear doesn't matter as long as you can follow directions & get to the vibe. (comfort with perc/piano also welcome!)
