One of my side projects is using Puppeteer to compare screenshots of our pages before/after an update. But I struggle for ages now, to get consistent results from Puppeteer. Most often it appears to use a different zoom, but the config and the page are exactly the same. Sometimes it applies different CSS breakpoints and even mixes them. I'm so confused 🙈

I feel like I spent more time on trying to get Puppeteer to work probably than manually testing all the pages for issues 🙈

@denniskoch I‘m more and more convinced that Pulpeteer is quantum-software.

I ran into so many issues with it over the years. Getting the same result for the same code sometimes feels impossible. 😅

@stefanzweifel I'm wondering whether Playwright would improve this. But I guess chromium might be the issue 😅

@stefanzweifel the worst part is: When you test with a little site everything is fine first try. Then you deploy and test with multiple sites on the queue and all sites have issues 🙈 Is it network, CPU, OS?
