"Accidentally deleted" part 1/3:
My first contact with #programming was retyping code examples in BASIC from Atari 65XE manual. I was about 11, didn't know english, and my typing speed was no more than 5 wpm.
When I was almost done with the longest program listing my older brother accidentally pressed some "clear screen" keyboard combo. I thought all was lost, started crying and kicked him out of my room...
