Hey #Linux #Wayland folk.

I'm frankly tired for how #sway seems to break everything. The mouse cursor just vanishes sometimes (most often in Audacity or KDEnlive), it breaks modals in GIMP.

Does anyone know of any good alternatives? Tiling Window Manager, similar(ish) to i3 would be best, and maybe handles this stuff better? Or is this just wayland (probably (hopefully) not).

@snaums what issues are you having? I feel like sway is as good as it gets for TWM. I know people like Hyprland, but feels early days.

For things with lots of modals, you can switch it to floating mode in sway.
