Should an open source project have a forum as well as a Discord? Thinking about mirroring Discord to Discourse so we can get some searchability for Leptos issues. #rust #webdev #rustlang

@benwis You're asking the wrong crowd. THIS crowd hates proprietary sinkholes like Discord.
HOWEVER. There is another crowd entirely who would vote very differently.
And I'd like to add something, if you'll forgive me, that wasn't an option.
"I don't care. Just ACTUALLY put time and effort into whichever you choose, because creating uninhabited ghost towns attached to projects is an anti-pattern".

@feoh @benwis That's a criticism of Discord, but I don't think it's the main one (certainly isn't for me).The problem is that chats aren't easily searchable. Newcomers won't be able to find information—they just have to ask questions they know have probably been answered fifty times and wait for responses. It's intimidating and inconvenient. That's as true on Matrix or Keybase as any closed-source solution.

@webbureaucrat @benwis Agreed, searchable is a nice feature to have.
