I'm majorly confused... AvenueX and other reviewers say "Love's Rebellion" isn't dubbed, yet the first episode I watched was very heavily dubbed to the point where the lip-sync was about 1 sec off (which is a looong time in dubbing)... what's going on there? Also, the voice recording sounded like they took no care at all about spatial setting - the ML was standing far from the camera but sounded like he was speaking directly into the viewers' ears... yes, I do have good speakers. Weird. #cdrama

@Katztronaut what she means is that the actors dubbed themselves in a studio later after filming. Thats how it is usually done in cdramaland. This drama's sound production is apparently quite poor

@liztai Yes, I know. 😊 (I'm a film studies M.A.) AvenueX was specifically saying the sound was recorded on set (including the voices) which made the sound quality poor as they didn't do a great job there. The review was a bit older though, and when I watched the first episode the other day I wondered if iQiYi had hastily done a new sound recording in the meantime, because it was very clearly not an on-set recording. Hence my confusion, I hoped maybe somebody else had noticed, too.
