@omenos @tonroosendaal It makes sense to me as chat is famously bad for any kind of knowledge management/retention. It's for real-time conversation - anything that requires longer-term storage or searchability should go elsewhere like a forum or wiki.
Note that the server requires users to sign in too (I have mixed feelings about that) - this also effectively blocks search bots from indexing the platform.
