Comparing 4 K mount 28 mm lenses: #Pentax M 28 f/2, #Cosinon-W 28 f/2, #Vivitar (Komine) WA CF 28 f/2.8 and Pentax M 28 f/3.5, all with yellow filters. Focused on a foreground statue of the Warwickshire symbol, a bear with chains around it and a "ragged" staff, with a fountain in the background, out of focus.

@Ingiald You know how these things go... but the new Pentax M 28/2 was glued to my camera for weeks! I think it is a little bit better than the Cosinon-W (more contrast, maybe not sharper), and has nicer bokeh than the other two. Probably not enough better to justify the much higher price, though I'm glad I got the Pentax 28/2. Pentaxforum reviewers seem to think the Cosinon has more aberrations, though I've not seen problems there.
