@sz_duras if the idea is “be in alignment with what the process of life seeks” then human intimacy with the living world is a value? (I dunno, don’t shoot the messenger)
That’s compatible with an animist/pantheist take which I find somewhat appealing, but imo the book itself reaches for an unnecessarily human-centric telos
