This week I went from zero to "Oh, ok I can get stuff done with this" in .NET. I've really never messed with development on Windows, at least not professionally. I like C# so far. I have yet to see the deployment side though - I have no love at all for IIS. Today I spent a ton of time in WSL and it's very good.

@davemenninger Although you can deploy modern #aspnetcore in IIS, it is more common to install using the built-in Kestrel web server, which works on #linux as well as #Windows

I haven't deployed to a Windows web server in years, as it is generally cheaper to deploy to a Linux VM or (better yet) container.
