What is it about light drizzle that’s just the worst. Not enough to make it actually worth while, but still enough to soak you through.

@ret you’ve seen police kit fetishists right? I know one guy who has a fully functional Sepura TETRA (sans encryption keys) on the kit he wears to events. Apparently he’s got it working in FM as well which would make an excellent tool for trolling the event staff (we’re both friends with all of them), but I’ve yet to convince him to try it, usually because it’s never charged

@ret very nice! I’m guessing that’s an intrinsically safe HT? Funnily enough the same pup also has full firefighter kit and SCBA and used to regularly borrow my diving cylinders for it, do I dare link him to this though 😜

@PupGhost Oh my! That's dedication, I love it. & it is indeed, safety category 2. I'd say it's my favourite TETRA radio in my collection because it is just built so damn well and everything feels rock solid on it. Supports Man-Down/Lone Worker too.

@ret TBF, there’s also an element of breathplay there because fetishists (not mine personally).

Oh cool! I’m not surprised it’s well build for what they have to put up with, because the last thing you’d want is it failing in the middle of a fire.

I think our responder DMR radios have man down on as well, although I’m yet to get my mucky paws on the CPS for them to do any digging (managed by third party, and I don’t have Moto CPSs).
