If you’re having trouble compiling Abseil with re2 (if you’re not using one of the precompiled native gems), you can try the newly released re2 2.13.2 which patches the bundled Abseil 20240116.2 to fix CMake 3.30.0 support: https://github.com/mudge/re2/releases/tag/v2.13.2

Big thanks (yet again) to @flavorjones for flagging this issue, caught by his scheduled downstream CI workflow for MiniPortile which suddenly broken when GitHub updated their runner images to include CMake 3.30.0: https://github.com/flavorjones/mini_portile/blob/41ca98ade28a1ac36362ae6cbcd7ea3f6f4c297b/.github/workflows/downstream.yml
