Americans have fought our way out of 2 previous gilded ages- the 1860s and 1920s. The price was violence and death (think the Civil War and brain-bashing union busting). We are now in our 3rd gilded age. The difference? Now we're hyper-armed. If the left and right could join forces to combat our TRUE ENEMIES (the mega-rich), we could win rather quickly.
