@mikemai2awesome @elly probably smart. I've been avoiding saying "web designer" because 99% of my work is development, but I think you and @elly are more correct

@mikemai2awesome @elly I also think User Interface Developer applies strongly to me, but there's a lot that goes into developing a UI end-to-end and I don't do all of it (though I could), so i'm also not sure about that one.

@ademagic @elly the word development will probably make ordinary folks think of something physical, they most likely can’t make the connection to digital things being developed.

@ademagic @elly my parents still think design is just art, drawing pictures on the computer. But the fact is that design is problem solving, whether it’s code or visual. They will never understand that.
