Thinking once again about how The Good Place nailed its final thematic statement so well that even a few years later I haven't once had a serious urge to rewatch it. As much as I loved it and didn't want it to end, that last episode put me at peace with it, and it would feel almost crass to go back. No other media has done that for me quite so powerfully before or since, and I still find that really valuable.

@hornedking I also have that joy at the final resolution as well but I find the middle episodes infinitely rewatchable for their comedy

@vees I definitely see that. But the show was also just so damn good that despite my generally shit memory, a lot more of it has stuck in my mind than almost any other show. I'm content with the memories, which isn't something I can say about probably any other show.
