@10wontips The app says you have to be Korean. On the rightmost tab it seems to be able to import a QR code so may work with the one on the new Foreign Resident Card.

@panda I don't use it personally but I have multiple foreign friends who use it. It definitely works for non-Koreans.

@10wontips Could there be differences between the three apps? I’m using the KT one and i get the message ‘만 17세이상 주민등록증을 발급받은 대한민국 국민만 이용가능합니다’ when i try to set it up.

@panda You have to use the one for your teleco. KT needs the KT version, SK users need the SK version, etc. "Econ phone" users need the overarching network their service uses. You do need a resident registration too. And the phone must be in your precise legal name. I think 70% of issues people have are with their name not matching. Misspellings, weird spaces, capitalization, it all matters.

@10wontips This is all correct. I’m on KTmMobile so using the KT app. I discovered the issue with capitalisation when registering on Naver kept failing (it needed my name to be all uppercase).
