Excess mortality in Europe - the numbers for September recently dropped.
https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Excess_mortality_-_statistics
In aggregate it decreased slightly but is still significant.
Finland has seldom been far from the top since we "learned to live with the virus" in mid 2021, and we made the podium again.
In September we get silver with +13.4%, not far behind Cyprus with +13.9%
Seeing how COVID is raging right now over here, how the authorities have not bothered vaccinating most of the population, can't cope properly with even the eligible narrowly scoped risk groups, and are not reacting with a clear recommendation to mask, we can probably look forward to more outstanding numbers for the winter months.
