though either ive been using too little hashtags or simply the wrong ones.

on twitter its easy to grow due to community hashtags such as artmoots and artshare but i found nothing like that on here

@Nyangire I'd say the biggest thing you're missing is alt text - it's more and more common that folk won't boost posts that have undescribed media, because they aren't accessible for the blind community here. The alt text doesn't need to be much, it can just be 'low poly 3D render of a character' or 'simple digital line art of a figure' or whatever :)

@Curator Ive been doing alt text for most of my posts but i stopped doing it after a while because it made no difference...

I'll add them to my posts and future posts if this is how mastodon operates
