We have now reached a level where artificial intelligence is able to generate human-level bullshit.

If you fear losing your job to an AI, it is because you are paid to produce and/or sell bullshit. If your customers are satisfied by an AI, you probably cultivated too much their taste for shit.

The world may be better without you making/selling that shit.

@ploum I’ve been translating professionally for nearly 20 years. Arguably not a bullshit job. I’m being slowly but surely replaced by AIs. Shitty translations are everywhere, and users don’t seem to care, or at least they never complain, so I’m not surprised companies are settling for “close enough” instead of paying humans…

@sknob : "making translation that users don’t care about and nobody cares if it’s shit" looks awfully like a bullshit job.

As an author, I’m sure I don’t want any of my books translated automatically!
