Well... I received an unofficial assist on one of our goals in today's game after handing our team's leading scorer his spare stick when he dropped his main one, during a powerplay, where he soon, thereafter, scored.
Had two spectators complement my quick action (one being the player's father).
Alas, the game ended in a loss, but was a well-played one for the boys. #JuniorHockey #HockeyMastodon

This is fairly significant, even though it may seem trivial to others... @justinbieber unfollowing certain people on IG (via PopcornedPlanet):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okpE8-aiy8k
I've been waiting for him to do this for many, many years, as it feels like necessary steps in order to move beyond those that only truly sought to use him, from the start.
Watching Andy's commentary, here, reminded me to revisit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcCRs0Ic3FI , which I just did. #JustinBieber #LouPearlman #BoyBandCon

Would repost the Vision-inspiring image in question, but I'm continuing to honour an earlier Vision request by Young Cody to refrain from doing so, out of respect.
Will let Cody continue to prepare for his play performances in March/April and trust he had a terrific bday, with Emma treating him well.

I won't go into much detail about what happens in the Vision, other than to say Codes was wearing a white with black stripes Adidas track suit, made from the crinkly nylon material -- like a windsuit. He had on just the track jacket on top, and the matching pants below. When we crossed paths, I was wearing exactly the same thing as him, except in a black track suit with white stripes. There's a lot more that took place in the Vision, but that's all I'm prepared to say at this time.

It's Codes' twenty-eighth bday today/tomorrow, depending on where you are. I actually had my first #VisionOfCody in quite some time after he posted that photo of him titled "2025", with text atop the image of him sitting down, dressed in white. Can't see that photo on his public IG anymore, but it was also posted to the poet/"Prince Neptune" page, where it remains visible at present.

This #Plushtodon was packed in one of the reused and bulging boxes, but made it safely through shipping. It was welcomed home by a familiar friend, and they no doubt had plenty to discuss last night, and into the future.

It's official: there's a #Plushtodon now living in Canada (the first, perhaps?). It seeked out a perfect post for a photo op next to another rather notable event photograph: the overtime "Golden Goal" celebration by Team Canada's (ice) hockey members at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.

Took a trip "down south" today. Was a pretty decent outing, all things considered: the roads were dry with some minor-to-moderate drifting snow in places. Was partly cloudy at the destination, which was pleasant. Saw one of @Bigrigtravels ' favourite name in truck stops -- #Loves -- on the route, but didn't actually stop inside, on this trip. Kinda different to see the big lit Love's heart on the fuel price sign in the daytime that's solid (versus "beating") as the BRT camera shows us.

This is officially post #1982 -- which was a good year....

Have now reached the #WinterSolstice in the northern hemisphere. A little over eight hours of daylight was available, here, but we really didn't see any due to clouds and a few flurries.
However, not all was dark and gloom as seven of our players assembled two large Xmas food and gift hampers for two families that would greatly benefit from them. They donned their white home jerseys to deliver them.
Our sunrise and sunset times will now gradually increase, as the cycle continues.

If anyone deserves a pardon in the U.S. right now, one really ought to be bestowed upon #StevenDonziger , whom was released after being jailed in an unprecedented U.S. corporate-led private prosecution, which presently hangs over their justice system.
If you're able to help Steve out, please consider donating to his cause:

Here's the first #Xmas #card he made in 1986 (the same year my truck was still considered "new"):
It has a simple, hand-written inscription of "Rejoice" on the inside.
There was a card in 1985, but it was a colour copy of a drawing his daughter had created. That ended up serving as the inspiration for the run of cards he has done ever since.

For the first time in 38 years, will not be receiving an Xmas card from my former next door neighbour. Due to the month-long #CanadaPost strike, which just ended, he decided to forgo them, and will focus on one for next year.
Thankfully, I was able to visit and chat with him and his wife yesterday for a good hour in their home over some tea.
That was something a card really couldn't provide anyways.

Have had @Bigrigtravels on my mind at various points today, as he advised viewers of a medical procedure/surgery scheduled for today. It was something he had done previously in 2011, which was only partial in some manner. He didn't elaborate more than that, so I will not speculate about it.
I hope he's resting and recovering now and able to unwind from the anxiety leading up to it.
Steve's taking the rest of the year off as part of said recovery process, even though he'd rather be on the road.

On what would have been #BobBarker 's 101st bday, here are 101 of his opening monologue jokes and stories during the early-to-mid 1980's (the show's "golden era"), as compiled by Pluto TV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdk-IUhX9VA
Even includes the one about a semitruck hitting a wire and pulling down the parking lot guard shack at CBS, as well as someone in the audience bringing a copy of a San Antonio newspaper TV guide, with Bob's photo on the cover -- all at the 2:35 mark (of interest to @Bigrigtravels ... ).

Add 2 cm more overnight, to give an #mbstorm total of 14 cm here. Drifted snow hasn't been too bad of a problem.
Nice to see the sun out, for a change, now.

As of midnight, I'm up to 12 cm for #mbstorm Sunday. It has cooled off somewhat and the snow consistency has begun to become less "wet" and a bit more granular.
Took a little while to brush the accumulations off the vehicle before departing our arena home game.
It was a pretty entertaining one, with back-and-forth action. We came out of it with one point, in an overtime loss. A 5 on 3 we had in the final 2 minutes wasn't our best effort. The boys let their nerves get to them. #junior #hockey

Have, so far, had 5 cm wet snow to 16:00, with 3 cm falling since 14:00, here in Wpg-NK. Wind has been light, but now beginning to see a few gusts. Snow began around 11:00. #mbstorm
Will be venturing out into it in the next hour, or so, for a home #junior #hockey game. Glad we're at home and don't need to travel far.

Measurement showed 6 cm snow. For it being on the dryer side of things, a reasonable introduction to another winter season. #mbstorm

Today was the day winter arrived, at last.
Haven't measured the snowfall yet, as it's still coming down (and has with varying regularity since mid-morning) but I'd estimate around 6-7 cm of relatively dry snow has fallen. It's on the "lighter" side, at least. Thought this might arrive yesterday, but nope, today was it. #mbstorm
