I've managed four episodes of Severance season one in three days. It's stunningly good but I need to recover mentally after each episode as it's so viscerally triggering. Oof.

Rumours that the #Tranmere takeover might be happening over the next week or so. I'm praying to any God that'll have me...

Joe Tacopina might be a sleazeball, but he'll be our sleazeball.

Blueprint action: Brain Dig - what is your passion? What do you want to be, have or experience?

I'm meant to be getting an idea of how I want my world to look. I'd like to have a load of dogs. Being a crazy dog man might sound odd, but it's going on the list.

I'd like more laughter too. The French apparently tend to do "esprit" rather than humour and I'm not going anywhere near the expat community. Hmm. Ok, miserable is good too.

To be continued because this is another tricky one.

Edit: I'm going to add being fit and strong to that, because it's a prerequisite to doing a lot of stuff like riding my heavy BMW motorbike or getting the solar panels installed on the southern façade. Back to the home gym squat rack then...

Blueprint action #3: find what makes you happy.

Living in the moment. It may seem a bit navel-gazy, but for me is a pre-requisite to being calm enough in the noggin to enjoy daily life. And you're not the boss of me, so enough with the judgemental eyebrows. HARRUMPH!

Possibly giving up hope on Tranmere Rovers will help too. It'd at least stop me getting sad/angry/frustrated every week.

For the thinking about what makes me happy thing I'm considering something like "living in the moment" which is pretty zen but possibly a bit self-centred.

Thinking about how to relax and be happy is stressing me out 🤔

Blueprint action #3 is finding out what makes you happy, and I really have no idea. There is lots of stuff that needs to be done, but it's been so long since I've been passionate about something. Hmm.

Even stuff I've been passionate about has become like a millstone round my neck because my executive dysfunction has meant stuff just becomes yet more backlog of crap that needs doing, just increasing general anxiety. Can I include stuff that I want to do such as planting and looking after edible perennials even though the reality is currently contributing to my problems? I guess so, as it's still stuff I want to make a difference about and to leave for future generations.

Suggestions about how to approach this would be welcome, as I'm a bit stuck.

I had my first meditation session this morning and my mental clarity is much improved. Also took the dog for an extended walk (and jogged back).

Have done stuff since without over-analysing it too!

Disclaimer: this is not mental health advice. Moods can go up or down. I'm not your Dad.

But, seriously, tidy up a bit.

Blueprint action #2: Relax (find three ways to relax every day).

1 - 20 minutes meditation three times a day (just added it to my calendar, I used to really feel relaxed and focused after meditating)

2 - take the pooch for longer walks down to the bottom field three times a day rather than the four minutes of sniff, pee and poo (and alternate jog/walk on the way back).

3 - listen to some music before bed.

I might add reading something too, as it obviously requires focus and I hardly ever read fiction for the fun of mainlining someone's interesting/bonkers thoughts any more.
