In 2023, we published a finding encouraging the deprecation of third party cookies, and the development of new technologies that can replace their functionality. The TAG Privacy Task Force has been working hard on developing a set of Privacy Principles for the web. Now we're ready for this document to get some wide review. https://www.w3.org/TR/privacy-principles/ The Privacy Principles seeks to set down some definitions of key privacy concepts and principles that the web platform as a whole should adhere to.
