That load I thought should be 600Wh was actually quite a bit higher due to the cold. In the past few days the panels and battery have behaved well.

A thing I’m still confused about is the potential vs. actual power: UV index from Pirate Weather says I should see maybe 90W from 3sqm of panels at 9am but I’m observing a lot more passing through. A nice surprise?

Did a discouraging overnight test run on a load that should have added up to ~600Wh (about 20% of the battery capacity) and ran out of juice by morning. Temperatures dipped pretty low but not freezing, wonder if that could account for the failure?

Put up the garage solar panels this weekend and plugged them into the charger/battery/inverter dolly I put together a couple months ago. Likely next step will be to add an RPi for recording its charge & discharge behavior over time.
