the acting in this episode is so good. i feel like "guy who just suddenly became a new guy but has to pretend to everyone at a party that he's still old guy" has got to be an absolute dream for a certain kind of actor
my favourite parts in Succession were always the bits where a character says one thing, but has to signal to the audience that they actually think the opposite, and this show scratches the same itch.
