Working on even more basics. Now it's in-game buttons that can trigger events. All ECS and observer based.
I just love that #bevy lets you build up your own engine step by step while keeping everything close to your fingertips. You're never working blindly and have to imagine what the result will be, you can just see it, however abstract it might be at first.

Question for the #bevy #gamedev community here:
When I start my game, apart from the terrible performance, this relatively simple shape starts to "dance" on its own while other shapes are standing still and are even able to "sleep".
The scene consists of a very simple half-space collider and four cuboid colliders. The colliders for the dynamic objects are generated via Avian's collider constructor and are, supposedly, convex hulls.
Question: Why the dancing and why the bad performance? 🙏
