Soo... page numbers are nothing when it comes to conveying word density in novels, especially the longer the novel.

I just finished Reamde. While I knew it was the most pages in a book I've ever read (1044), I didn't realize that it would take me three times as long as the novels at 500 pages that would take me two weeks to read.

Yes, I know I read slow, but Reamde is a DENSE motherfucker. A little too verbose for my taste in all honesty, but I'll still give the novel a 4-star-ish rating.

For those not in the know, a yearly theme replaces the concept of a New Year’s resolution.

The author, btw, is Alex Bugeja. He is a serial offender with his AI written books. You'll notice it's all non-fiction. I suggest you avoid all 402 of his AI written books.

He's also not ashamed to put the PhD in his author title in every one of them, as if it's supposed to give credence to the books OpenAI likely wrote.

I got gifted a book written by AI on moving to the Netherlands. While it's nice to have the information all in one spot... it's weird to look inside the boot and see the exact same formatting used by OpenAI's ChatGPT (likely the backing for the Qyx AI Book Creator that the author used)

As we make our way into the turbulent air found at lower altitudes, the rattling of my laptop screen makes it difficult to focus on the article I've been staring at for a few minutes now.

Instead, I look out the window, admiring the cloud cover being shredded as it passes by the business towers whose heads poke through the torn white blanket.
