Tous? Non! Un site résiste encore et toujours à la solution. Il s’agit du site principal qui à la connexion la plus maousse (1G symétrique).

J’ai essayé de diminuer mes valeurs mtu sur wireguard (serveur et client) et la valeur que je force en tcp clamping, rien à faire.

Que puis-je diagnostiquer/essayer d’autre?

J’ai résolu presque tous les problèmes ainsi:

• #MTU à 1280 sur l’interface réseau du #vps

• ajout de règle de parefeu pour forcer le tcp clamping pour les packets à destination de mon vps sur les openwrt qui gère le liens wireguard:

chain mangle_output {
     type route hook output priority mangle; policy accept;
     ip daddr  oifname { "eth1", "eth2" } tcp flags syn tcp option maxseg size set 1160
     counter comment "count_dropped_packets"
}

Hey! Les copains #sysadmin j’ai besoin d’ #aide sur un pb #réseau assez velu:

• J’utilise un #vps chez #ovh comme cœur de réseau avec plusieurs sites connectés par #wireguard

• Quand les liens sont très solicités (backup) le vps se met en mode protection et tous les liens tombent (y compris avec le parefeu ovh dédié configuré correctement)

• la cause du pb semble être la fragmentation de paquets: par defaut les vps ovh sont configuré avec un #MTU de 1500 alors que des test réel montre ~1280
