[#]linuxhint - automatic opening of kde vaults on login

first step is to make your vault with #gocryptfs for example for ~/Documents. then create an entry in #kwallet by creating a password in your "Passwords"-group (create it too if not present) named "vaultpass" and enter the password you used for ~/Documents. then create a bash script and let it autostart:

gocryptfs --extpass="kwallet-query -f Passwords -r vaultpass kdewallet" [.enc folder] ~/Documents

i really like those little quality of life things in #KDE ... i just discoverd that if i put an audio cd in my drive i get a folder in dolphin where i can just copy&paste #mp3 - or #opus, #flac,...) files in my music folder to #rip it. no external software needed, cddb has been queried and settings for encoding are present in the system preferences...

like it was back in the day with #BeOS and aiff drag&drop directly off the cd.

Seit vier Tagen habe ich mein #shiftbook. Mit #bazzite läuft es richtig gut. #ElementaryOS kann man dafür aber nicht empfehlenen. Elementary und Touch verträrgt sich nicht gut. Wenn man ne andere bzw. zusätzliche SSD einbauen will sollte diese nur auf einer Seite Speicherchips haben, sonst steht sie ab und die Verbindung zum Board geht nicht richtig. Empfehlenswert ist auch LUKS nicht zu verwenden, weil man sonst die Tastatur immer anstecken muss zum Booten.

Still no luck with my macbook. I will #shift and buy a @shiftphones #SHIFTbook ... I wanted to wait for the #shiftbook2 but I need a new computer now. Nevertheless, I will also preorder the keyboard stand if the tablet fits my needs.

Aaaand here we go again, black screen on my #macbook after waking up from sleep. Nothing helps just rebooting serveral times. I'm about on number 30, making a reboot break and doing backups via hdmi screen... #apple just sucks hard since around they switched to #AppleSilicon

UUUHHHH! Bei @DragonBox gibt es die #8BitDo - #Tastatur mit deutscher QUERTZ-Belegung!!!

Es gibt für Vorbesteller auch nen 10 Euro Rabatt bis zum 13.01.
