Noooooo, my #OLPC XO4 Touch shipping is not going well. Thanks, #Germany...

Thank you for purchasing this laptop from our store. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that Germany has rejected the parcel as it contains a lithium battery, and it has been returned to us.

As the laptop cannot be shipped with the battery, I can either resend it without the battery or cancel the sale and issue a full refund.

1. Come up with a way to put a ARM SBC in a 2.5" harddrive slot (and ideally be powered by the s-ata connector and be networked over USB). This could add extra horsepower to add to old laptops like my beloved #Thinkpad #X60s. Bonus points for having a usable HDMI out to be able to function in the modern world better on such an old machine.

[#]38C3 Saal 1 has "hidden" tables in the armrest to the right.

And not just that: It also has plenty power outlets (at least on the upper level), every second chair - so sharing is caring.

My #postmarketOS install on my #X13s broke beyond repair (i missed an initramfs related issue that must have been introduced through an upgrade at the right time where a simple apk fix could have fixed everything). I am now fighting with #ArchLinuxARM (started with following https://github.com/KingBBQ/arch_x13s?tab=readme-ov-file, which should not be that hard, but since I want to have luks and systemd-boot, because security... it's a pain. Currently compiling a kernel as I was lacking a module.

Ich bin mir langsam ziemlich sicher, dass es ein Fehler war, die Journalisten und Politiker mit den freidrehenden, rechtsradikalen Vollkoffern auf #twitter / #twitter_x allein zu lassen.

Jetzt haben wir eine noAfD, und die gleiche Scheiße leicht abgeschmeckt in den Farben cadenabbiablau, grün, rot und gelb.

Looks like my latest "Schrotthochzeit" marrying the spicy pillow bluetooth keyboard with the USB controller of a "Thinkpad Tablet Keyboard Folio Case" may work. There'll be some more work (cutting, shimming, soldering) necessary, but then it should work.
