[#]askfedi #mastodon I am usualy using #IceCubesApp and quite satisfied with it. Recently I bought an IPad and I can no longer access #mastodon with #IceCubesApp on my iPhone. Not a catastrophy. Then I tried #mastodonapp, the original, and found childporn on my local timeline. I tried to block and signal but that bastard apparently managed to block it (clicking the … doesn’t open the menu)

I hope the community can do something about the second problem.

Donc la discussion du jour c’est #mastodon ou #bluesky. 🙄

C’est pas la même technologie ni le même esprit. L’un cherche à développer des communautés interconnectées et l’autre ne semble qu’aspirer à du Twitter/C plus policé et responsable.

Ça fait deux ans que j’ai quitté le réseau maudit ou je n’étais pas actif pour éviter de nourrir l’algorithme. Aujourd’hui j’ai bien assez de diversité sur Mastodon pour ne pas m’encombrer d’un autre réseau dont l’objectif est la monétisation

[#]askfedi #askfedi strange problem with an #apple Mac mini M1 : try to connect to another older Mac mini ( configuration unchanged from previous days and no possibility to hack because machines are not connected to electric grid while not used). Failure to connect. After configuration verification I noticed first computer has different time (about 20 min. different). Rebooting apple time server from the settings app solved the problem. Anybody had similar experience?

La CEDH a condamné la Suisse pour action insuffisante pour le climat et reconnu que la protection du climat fait partie des droits de l’homme (et surtout de la femme puisque ce sont des femmes âgées qui ont saisi la Cour).
